Kerry wanted the same intel cuts as the GOP, Senators Shelby and Specter. Sorry, but this has been clearly reported. JK is just fine and strong on defense and intelligence. Ditto Kerry's defense votes were echoed by Cheney and other GOP leaders at the time. See, this is what the Bushies don't tell you. Kerry was for certain smart cuts and honest cost-savings, and the GOP agreed with them much of the time. No one so-sponsored JK's bill because he never went that far, it was merged into another bill. All just disinformation the White House puts out there because they can't run on their own record.
