J.F., Thanks for your insights. It helps to put this into perspective. Locally, we have a new low power FM station that has just been licensed to a community group. Unfortunately, they are financially strapped and will probably not be on the air before the elections. Kind of a pity, as far as I'm concerned, considering that the only halfway "librul" station around, the NPR station, is now going toward government propaganda as soon as they can. The silencing of the Left on the airways is a real problem, when all we get instead is pabulum or the screaming talking heads like Michael Savage and the rest of the chien lunatique of the Right.
