Lynn Nofzinger told me he wouldn't be surprised if the entire energy crisis in 2000 had been rigged to help Bush-Cheney bring down the Clinton-Gore economy, gouge tens of millions from consumers and rip off the democatic California. "I wouldn't put it past them" he told me, meaning Cheney, Enron, Bushes, Saudis and friends. Later, after I realized El Gillespie was spending millions in Enron money to cover up the energy ripoffs, I ran into a Democratic state senator and asked him who was behind the schemes, Enron or the GOP? He told me they're the same thing. The energy crisis endede the day after Jeffords switched parties giving the dems subpoena powers. Sudenly we had an energy glut. Then Bush rewarded Gillespie by ,making him head of the RNC, a huge promotion for a guy who'd just spend the last year lying to cover up huge corporate crimes.
