A problem that may arise due to the administration's lies (excuse me, I mean "mistakes," cough cough) about Iraq is a reduced willingness to take their word for it about Iran.

I am still surprised that people take this approach. All the unsupported accusations are on one side, all the facts are on the other. I can think of several major mistakes Bush has made. Lying about the WMD is not one of them.

But I guess "Bush lied!" is just too juicy to pass on.

Given that Iran is much more dangerous than Iraq was, this could be the great failure of the Bush administration.
