I'll say it differently, then: It's hysterical that so much fuss was played up with that "Rumsfeld shaking hands w/ Saddam" photo back from the early 80s. And then you "legitimize" the dude in 2004. When the US has had dealings with a leader who turns out bad, the State Dept. says, "Well, he was the legitmate head of state". The Left complains about the US supporting bad leaders. That you would use the same rationale is &#151 fascinating! And I'll further predict that you complain about the US using that rationale sometime in the future.
