Live wouldn't be much fun if we couldn't be responsibly "irresponsible".

Hi Coug
I just saw Sayles new movie- Casa de las (los?) Babies. great movie. I also really liked the movie Stoked- which was non-fiction about a skateboarder. I did not think I would like it, but my skateboard boys in class wanted to see it at lunch, so I had to preview it before I showed it- and gosh darn it if it wasn't really good. Oh well

I felt the same way about 8Mile. I hadn't wanted to see that either- but my kids at school insisted, and I came away mightily impressed by the art of rap. Like it or hate it, it is art (the good stuff is- I'm afraid the "put it in your mouth" or whack a cop stuff is not- but then we can draw lines between snuff films and Maplethorpe- so we can draw lines between art rap and crap rap, imo).

Hope you are doing well- I can't remember if you are already on your fantastic trip- but if you are, hope you have a wonderful time.
