To: rrufff who wrote (5627 ) 3/14/2004 1:00:44 PM From: sea_urchin Respond to of 20039 rrufff, thank you for your reassuring comments. > You're being attacked for a funny post. I'm glad you see it that way. The post was funny --- I was beginning to wonder ..... > You've seen that much that is posted on this thread would make for interesting fodder in the study of paranoia. I didn't come to criticize anyone. I met Raymond at another thread and we had had some nice chats so, as I mentioned, I thought I would reply to a post he had made here. > Although you comment that you are often critical of Israeli policy, you quite ably point out the foolishness of thinking that Israel had anything to do with 9/11. Yes, I am critical of Israel's policy although I can certainly understand why they act the way they do. Apropos, 9-11, I lay the blame on the present US administration and, until a full inquiry has been held where many unanswered questions can be dealt with, I will hold them directly responsible, in fact, complicit. Likewise any "terrorist" attack which is purported to be the work of Al Qaeda. > I don't know which is more absurd that notion or the thread topic title Understandably enough, I felt the thread topic title was "tongue in cheek" and I consequently looked forward to a bit of banter and getting away from the serious stuff for a while. Let's face it, George Bush may be many things but a "mastermind" --- that's not possible! > I've seen many "interesting" theories here, from Russia, Israel and France working together to do 9/11 to little nukes with Israeli technology, holograms perhaps courtesy of Spielberg. Understandably so. Until those unanswered questions are answered (if they can be) people will speculate. And people do have vivid imaginations. Me included. > Often the best criticism is humor and your post was exceptional. Thank you for the compliment. In case anyone felt I was being disparaging, it wasn't my intention to mock anyone. I had merely adopted a doubting, and hardly pro-Zionist, line for the purpose of teasing Raymond. He knows how I feel and clearly accepted my humor as it was intended. (And as you did) > Don't feel bad if the humor is lost in paraonia OK, I'll take your advice because I can tell you that I did feel bad. In fact, I could not understand what I had said to provoke such an outburst? Now I feel much better. Thanks.
