Hi EP: to put my bites into the context: they're just a reaction by a person of normal, if not low, assertiveness to initial posts, in the sense of "why opinion on everything?" - the answer of course is :"Because I have my darn right to assert it" - Id say ElM has an extra dose of assertiveness, probably the one Im missing (g). But otoh it's my nature to fight BS wherever I see it... Re triple alliance war - what about the two world wars. Actually would have no trouble coming up with a dozen of suggestions for stup finals' entries... I do think on average humanity is getting it. But, man, look at the cost of it, look at the body count...

When bellicosity is the matter, Paraguay is not the first country that spring to mind of many people. You went to the bottom of the barrel to find this one. No, they don't qualify. You and me may have got really drunk and made idiotic things one night but next day we got sober. That drunkness doesn't make us idiots. There are lots of countries that did idiotic things. But they stopped. They see it working against themselves. Another generation comes and doesn't want to be part of that. Ending in pizza was the clever outcome for Iraq. Invading it was idiotic. But someone will boot Bush out of the White House and straight things up because the Americans are not idiots.
