I read that article. It is a rehash of what appeared on the same topic 3 months ago and which I mentioned on this thread several times. So I am aware of the contents of the article.

Your spin is different and your posting of the clippings only comes across as lies and spin.

A Defense Secretary plans and transforms. A Senator just votes and provides reasons on the floor during discussions. What my post goes to show that every person has a reason to vote against something. At issue is what the person proposes in its place.

I know for sure that Kerry has said he does not propose to cut and run in Iraq. This is surely not an approach from one who as you say believes in voting down military expenditures. Yes you vote one down if it is unnecessary. And that is what Kerry did.

John F. Kerry campaigned for congress on on cutting military expenditures: Running For Congress In 1972

1972 whoopdeedoo, it's 2004. Digging up dirt from 32 years ago. How about Bush's cocaine use during that time period, now that's some serious dirt. Kerry was right to oppose any more funding for that misguided and immoral war in Viet Nam in 1972. Good for him! Our country would be a better place to live if that money had been spent right here at home.
