I'd like to see both step down and it will happen soon in Israel. I agree with that.

However, Arafat has undermined his own Prime Ministers. The previous one had to flee the country for trying to make peace. The current one quickly realized his job was to sit and smile after public rebuking following a few conciliatory remarks.

As for Israel killing those who could take his place, that hasn't happened. The Israelis have killed terrorists, leaders of Hamas and IJ and other cowardly terrorist leaders. Nothing wrong with that.
