The point is, if you're not in the wealthy elite (the top 5% or so) and not benefitting from Bush's policies, if you're worried about your job being offshored, if you're worried about the balloning deficit, if you're worried about whether they'll be Social Security and Medicare when you retire, it's in your interest to vote Bush out of office.

That only makes sense IF you think Kerry can do better economically, and if you think he will do as well or better in other important areas, like fighting terrorism. If you think Kerry will do worse than Bush in any areas, it's still in your best interests to retain Bush even if you're not doing wonderfully now.

This is not to say that Kerry will or will not do better than Bush. I know where you stand on that, so you don't need to expound.

The object of this post is to point out that your logic is false, and that even people who have the concerns you point out may still have good and logical reasons for retaining Bush.
