Stern will have more effect than Ralph Nader.
I have heard the Nader candidacy is mainly bluff and PR and that he won't even try to get on ballots of battleground states, just places like Vermont and Washington State. But then Dean will try to make sure nobody votes for Nader even there. As I always used to say Naderites and Deaniacs are sometimes the same people.
