Hmmmmm. You may have a point.

But, perhaps you're overlooking all the voters who are offended by the decision of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to allow gay marriage, and the actions of the Mayors of New Paltz, NY and SF and the county administrator of Multnomah Count to marry gays in violation of the law, in your calculus. There are a lot of unmotivated people in the heartland who are offended by what is going on, and they too may step up to the table and vote.

If we are in a culture war pitting Howard Stern against middle America, my vote is with middle America.

Howard Stern doesn't speak for me, and my suspicion is he doesn't speak for the marjority of Americans. Frankly, the dude is an aberration.
