Clinton was not re-elected then, he was first elected then. At the time, the economy was already rebounding from a brief recession (dodwnturn and rebound under Bush's watch), and was destined to boom regardless who was elected.

It's easy to understand how you get so confused, if errors like this slip by you. Many common Americans had become investors by 2000. In fact, they rather liked tech stocks. Having suffered a 70+ loss before Bush took office, you ought to bet they remember who was President (Clinton).

In '91 we'd had 11 years of Republican Presidents, and did not see the sort of bad economy which we've seen has ensued after 8 years of Clinton. This is hardly the same place Americans were in '91. Yes, Americans remember...and fortunately for the truth, these hard cold facts can't be credibly disputed; on the other hand, they thoroughly destroy your incorrect comments.
