Puts on the stock market? I don't know why
raising fed funds slowly and gradually would
upset the stock market so dramatically.

Be serious. The market started heading south the day Greenspan changed the words from "considerable period" to "patient"

It rallied big on the horrid jobs news (although that has since been given back) because it meant the FED would be "patient" longer.

Now you are predicting a series of hike would have no impact when a HINT causes a steep reaction. Pure fantasy land.

I am coming to the rapid conclusion that huge SHORTS are a decent hedge againt fears of a hike.

Both will likely be right cause this market is starting to look like crap and the FED ain't hiking.
