Seems Saul's need to fulfill his mission for this jealous of all "Godly God's" , certainly involved alot of "cursing and accursing" it seems for a gospel of simple and devout --->"Love of your Brothers , Neighbors and Enemies " <g> But hardly anyone can say that Jesus was not filled with vitriol and fumes often and imparting some curses of his own much of the time too.....very flameable & passionate bunch these hebrews could be . anyways , you might enjoy the passions of flaring nostrils~of~disdain & the righteous accursing which is displayed on this tough stern accursing Christian website . You know very well what his revelation referred to. It was to a "vision" of a light from "heaven" which blinded him, and a voice in his mind. It had nothing to do with having hobnobbed with a real person, Jesus: ACTS 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man." ___________________________________ Note, as well, that the men with him heard the voice, too...or did they! :-) ACTS 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard NOT the voice of him that spake to me.
