Bush made Al-Qaeda the most important guerilla group on earth. He engaged them in a way that gave them great power. When he abandoned the fight against them to remove Saddam, they regrouped and are back up and operating( if they were ever stopped in the first place). Are we watching a modern day version of David vs. Goliath? Bush made a grave mistake when he allowed them to regroup. I heard stories that at least 12 training camps were back up and running in the Mt's of Afghanistan............maybe those stories were true. What kind of military strategist would give it's adversary time to revamp?? Don't tell me they don't teach better tactics and strategy than that at West Point! Why did Bush abandon Afghanistan??
