I don't think they will attack prior to the US elections, because they know Bush would win in a landslide. I think they will wait and see if Kerry gets elected.

Al-Quaeda must be sitting back somewhere and trying to determine will another catastrophic attack in the U.S. help or hurt Bush re-election? Guess we'll know their answer this year. I'm kind of thinking if they bring Ossama in, another attack will soon follow, just to let us know they're still in business. You can bet they already have succession plans.
