I agree. There is no excuse that a person does not do their job. Kerry also should have been there for the budget...he is looking for a new job, but does it paid and does not show up. All candidates should either resign or do what they are paid to do. Or, at the minimum, stop receiving pay and benefits for the period they are not working. "If John Kerry spent as much time at the job he was elected to do as he does on the campaign trail, he might have noticed the recent Resources Committee hearing on the loss of American jobs due to our reliance on foreign energy,” said Rep. What nonsense! You can't convert the entire barrel of oil into gasoline. That's rudimentary fundamental as basic as it gets organic chemistry. The moron that wrote that knows nothing about science. If the government cared about oil & gas they'd do something about all the wasteful gas guzzlers crowding the road. I doubt one single person driving a Hummer legitimately needs it.
