The story you referenced says:

"The combination of historically low interest rates and low inventory has made bidding wars the rule rather than the exception."

These conditions are not consistent with a market top, in my experience. The market top is visible when inventory is high and/or homes are being churned speculatively for quick profit. Seems to me the only thing churning right now is mortgages. Folks aren't moving anything except the figures on their monthly payments.
