The Bush administration resembles a RICO organized crime effort more accurately than a conspiracy. The criminal element, the neocons, were not able to conceal their actions well, they could only count on restricting information and restricting time for decisions. I guess they thought that once they snookered everyone that nobody would look back. It might have worked, except their fundamental theory of unilateral conquest didn't work. Instead of the triumphant "Mission Accomplished" that had been scheduled, there is just a constant stream of body bags. Is a failed conspiracy still a conspiracy?
