My nomination for AS Post of the Day:

I've spoken to Springsteen's office, he doesn't do political concerts. Reagan blew that by mis-using Bruce's music without his permission. Tom Petty is #2 on the list. Will Smith may do concerts too. I have two other huge bands willing to do concerts but JK hasn't said yes to them yet because of their 70's era stoner images. He is being very careful like I said. No Sean Penns or Barbra Streisands fronting for him either. Jk will just not give the rightwing any obvious targets.

The problem with prolific liars like Kerry and AmSpit is that nearly everything they say is subject to challenge, and rather than defend the indefensible, they either just repeat it over and over again or go on to the next one.

Unlike Bush, JK doesn't have handlers around him telling him what to say. He isn't protected in the Rose Garden from scrutiny. He's out there with people and always beseiged by the press. You'll get straight answers from Kerry, but on the other hand, a thousand questions a day is a lot to handle clearly. He's not a robot so obviously he will make a few mistakes here and there.

Bushie hecklers have also begun to crash his events. Dirty tricks have begun. Actually they began in earnest with the phony Drudge stories, all five of them, and the frudulent Jane Fonda pictures and so-called vets group attacking his patriotism.
