You're right about drug legalization being another can of worms. I've gotten into some bruisers over the drug issue. People just have to realize two things: 1) There is a certain element in our society that is going to use drugs. 2) Most of the violence associated with that drug use is associated with the fact that drugs are illegal and the violent subculture it creates to produce, distribute and market the stuff. If it were legal it would be much less expensive and there would be less crime.
