The target in Bali was Australians.

The Spaniards are a target today, because of current events, not ancient history.

Both Australia and Spain could be sitting on the sidelines, in this war, if they had the sense to be Good Neighbors. This was not their fight, and it was foolish to send their troops into Muslim nations. When you break into your neighbor's house, steal their furniture, trash the place, and starve their kids, you've got to expect payback. It's just the same EyeForEye justice you've been advocating (except you only think your tribe should get to HitBack).

The Spaniards booted the Muslims out of Spain, Andalusia to be precise, in 1492

Strictly speaking, it was Granada that fell in 1492. La Reconquista of all of Andalusia, of which Granada is only a small part, took nearly 200 years.
