Seems a moot point to me. If one believes war and killing is immoral, suicide bombers are just another, albeit, bizarre version of such fighters as kamikazes, line troops of the Civil War, or Samson.
The point is, it happens. There is a lot of noise about how awful it is, and very little about the root causes.

That's what I thought you meant, and I agree.

There are suicide attacks on military targets, but they don't get the media attention. For example, Hezbollah used this tactic often during the Israeli invasion and occupation of Lebanon. And Iran used it in their war against Iraq. That is why Saddam turned to chemical weapons - he couldn't withstand the "human waves" of Iranian warriors.
