Ted Re...So to have this horrible thing befall them is very painful to me.

If that is the way you feel, then say it. that certainly isn't the message you conveyed when you said "Let this be just the beginning..........." Just exactly what message did you think I would get out of it. The message I got, was that you cared more that Anzar got defeated, than you cared for the lives of those people. Otherwise, why would you say you hope this is just the beginning. I know you hate Bush, but that doesn't justify what you said.

However, I am glad that some good came from the bombings; that Aznar's party was forced out of power.

There you go again. You just got done saying how much the bombings disturbed you, and here you are, claiming they did some good. Yes, Anzars party was forced out because of the bombings. Just why is that good for you? If Anzar would have been forced out over Iraq, then you could claim that the elections were good. As it is, AL Qaeda stole the victory from either side, and claimed victory for the politics of cowering, and appeasement.

Okay, I do dislike Bush for many policy issues but I love this country more

Yeah right, yet here you are cheering for Al Qaeda's victory, and you seem to be wishing for more, with your hope that this is only the beginning. Anything which strengthens Al Qaeda, would necessarily hurt the US, whether Kerry or Bush is president. So when you cheer for Al Qaeda's victory, your I love this country words ring hollow. Your hatred of Bush seems to superceed your love of country.

That is Anzar's reward for not listening to his people. He was the leader of a democracy, not a dictatorship. Ninety percent of the Spaniards were opposed to the war and still he invaded Iraq.

Just three sentences ago, you said the bombings were the cause of Anzars defeat. Now you claim it was because 90% pf the people opposed the war. The article you posted, claimed it was the bombing. Whatever, just know that all good was taken out of the election, as Al Qaeda stole the election by massacring hundreds of people. The election was meaningless, as Al Qaeda determined the winner, not the righteousness of either candidates positions.

If he were doing right by this country, I would support him even though I dislike his policies. But he is not doing right by us.

So now you are claiming a moral right for your hatred and anger. Then why did you have this anger, even before GW was elected, which was before GW did right or wrong for this country.

So I will do everything that's permitted in a democracy to get him out of power

No argument from me on that point, as that is my point. At some point, one would think you would say," Hold on, I hate GW, but not that much"; but, as you say, there is no depth you wouldn't sink to to discredit GW.

You don't seem to know when to cut off your attack and where boundaries lie.

There you are absolutely correct. I have no intention of slacking off in my outspokeness against hatred and anger, no matter how much you try to justify it. The one thing you didn't say in your post,is how I misinterpreted your post, or how sorry you were for giving the wrong impression, or saying you were sorry for not being clearer on what you meant. Not a word, just more excuses.

As for the last post for awhile, fine with me. Spring is here, and next wk. I go back to work for the summer again, so then I will let you vent in peace.
