JF, If they were to have to send you to Korea, it might not be so peachy over there. There would probably be a good reason.

No doubt about it, but let me put it this way. Every single one of my male cousins has either served in the Korean army or will have to serve thanks to the Korean draft. I've seen how South Korea has prospered, and I consider that worth fighting for, especially if I get to fight alongside my cousins.

So what was the original point you were trying to make? That Bush is somehow leading us into a position where the draft will be necessary? Sorry, but I don't share that view, at least not in regard to Korea.


Who are you kidding? You're over 30. The closest you'll come to fighting is the waves at Laguna Beach. BTW how's the diet going. <g>

That Bush policy is leading toward resumption of the draft, something you have said you are firmly against. IMHO, a hawk that doesn't believe in the draft has a much weaker moral position.
