Massachusetts has had three straight GOP governors. If it was as "leftist" a place as you like to claim none of them would have won. What Mass does have are very intelligent highly educated people who really know and care about politics. That's what frightens Bushies because very few highly intelligent people are impressed with Bush. My God, the guy admits he doesn't even read anything except for briefings. He also has not traveled in his life except for a few times and really has no understanding of the world out there.
