re: It does have something to do with it, but frankly Iran has hated America's guts even before Reagan became president. Remember the Iran Hostage Crisis, which happened under the watch of that "nice guy," Jimmy Carter?

Remember how we propped up the unpopular Shah or Iran? Jeez, I wonder what their problem was?

Tench Re...Face it, Ted. The blood feud between the Muslim extremists and the modern world started with the foundation of modern-day Israel.

Actually, if you read the article, by Bertrand Lewis, you would understand the blood feud started after the 13th century. At that time, Suliman the Great, defeated the last Crusades, at Constantinople. Since then, the turks, and their arab captives, have had a downhill ride since then, and America, as the richest, and most powerful country, is the one, who is keeping them down. It isn't what we did, but who we are.
