No doubt there are distinctions, but the culture isn't conducive to democracy and is radically different from western culture. Abuse of women, honor killings of family always women, mutilation of female genitalia, suicide bombers, and a preponderance of holy war make it an inferior culture if you ask me. Then throw in praying at 5 designated times a day. How can they even industrialize, they can't even operate a 3rd shift.
