They now have an accord signed that says it will not be. What if much to your disbelief, democracy works? What if against all of your prejedices that people in the middle east really would prefer freedoma and democracy over brutal oppression or religious dogma? "The answer is, in part, in significant part, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict" All the more reason to stamp out terrorism. Hezbollah and their sorts don't have such a comfy postion any more. Is Isreal at fault iyo by defending themselves? Do you wish they would have lost the wars that were started to eliminate them? Did the U.N. make a mistake by offering a state to Israel after Hitler almost wiped out the Jews? Doesn't look to me like Israel started this fracas, and terrorism seems to be a method embrace by many fanatic groups, not just the Palestinians. "The entire Western world has become more socialist since WW1. Get over it" Notice that we are the least socialist and the most prosperous. Because America still believes (with exceptions like yourself) that people can do well with freedom, democracy and capitilism. Compare us to France and some of the other counties you admire and see who has more employment and better standards of living. And if theres is better iyo, then go there. "So far he's put the leftists in power in Germany, South Korea, and now Spain" You should be just giddy. That is exactly what you want to do here. Ain't gonna happen though.
