Bush-Cheney and their friends control the energy business almost completely. After all their friends include the Saudis and Kuwaitis. Enron was the master agent of manipulation of it all. They figured out ways to create a virtual amrket for energy which sometimes didn't even exist. That's why they paid so much money to politicians to look the other way while they rigged an imaginary reality for themselves. Before the house of cards fell, they struck and exercised their new power. With full Bush-cheney approval. No coincidence it happened during the election cycle. And no coincidence their PR BS artist Ed Gillespie was later promoted by Bush to head the RNC. Anyone who can run a scam that enormous deserved a big promotion.
