The modern blood feud is just a continuation, of the blood feuds, which have been going on over a thousand yrs. If there was no Isreal, there would still be this blood feud going on, as Bertrand states. Same feud, with the same underlying causes, just different stated reasons. Put it this way. The Hatfield, McCoy feud wasn't about one argument. The feud started over an argument, and while the arguments changed, over the yrs, the feud continued.
