I believe the people of Spain acted out of Hysteria of the moment, the new leader SHOULD have had more sense than to make the comment Ann mentioned. IMHO Spanish people are more family oriented then we here, plus being a smaller nation, that train attack HAD to have been at least every bit as demoralizing to them as our WTC was to us at the moment. If the alquaeda planned it, it shows how shrewd they are, the timing was perfect. Spain allows by law no electioneering after that Wednesday, attack on Thursday, election on Sunday. Govt was caught with no way to explain things. jdn
