IMO, President Bush lived in West Texas long enough to get that attitude that many people have there. Just as he talked about trusting Putin, that was the way it was in West Texas, you did not always agree with your neighbor, but you did your best to build a trust there. Same as when one of the first things the President did was go out with Chappy Kennedy and help him sell the No child left behind deal. Of course Kennedy would have NEVER been satisfied with the money poured into his program..NEVER...so he back stabs the President, because he is a fat drunk Democrat. Those Senators like to make a big deal of saying they respect each other and work with each other, but I see where either Kennedy or Kerry would stick a knife in you so fast you could not say Chappaquiddick.
