On a longer time frame (last two-three centuries or so), Islam has "taken over" Southeast Asia (Malaysia and Indonesia, I believe are the two I've read about). Not to say that Christianity hasn't done similarly in other areas (Pentecostalism is HUGE in Africa), but Christians aren't blowing up trains in Madrid... Z, Actually Indonesia and Malaysia were brought into the fold back around 1200 AD which was the last great expansion of the Islamic empire. At one time, the empire stretched from Indonesia to southern Spain. ted
