No, it isn't, CB. I used to love to discuss this issue, but have quit as I get older and crankier. :>) I operate from the position that all actions are selfish ones. The Mother who saves her child at the expense of her own life, the Monk who lives on roots and berrys in a cave, Mother Teresa, et al, are all pursuing their own happiness.
