You're right. I've strangely gotten no answer on that one, even though the we have a 24/7 patrol of the boards normally.

The growing popular view of Europe as taking the "moral" road in rebuking the Iraq war, certainly doesn't give any mention to the billions at risk for France and Russia, as investments in Saddam's war and playboy empire.

The vast majority of Persian Gulf oil imported by the United States came from Saudi Arabia (69%), with significant amounts also coming from Iraq (20%), Kuwait (10%).

* This means we could be held hostage again by Saudi Arabia. That is unacceptable. We need to start weaning ouselves off Arab oil first and oil in general. Think of what each barrel really costs us with you add in all the military an security costs, also the pollution.
