Those 3000 were caught in a crime scene.
It was a large and dramatic crime scene, but it was not a war.

The Bush administration used the words and images of war to further the agenda of the PNAC. In doing so they gave Bin Laden the most publicity and a strong recruiting tool. The criminals were elevated to martyr, the crime was elevated to jihad.

TP, What if they gave a war and nobody came?

Yeah, I guess those 3,000 people who died in the World Trade Center consciously wandered into this war ...

Tenchusatsu, we all have some responsibility for 9/11. Furthermore, we have a responsibility do know what our gov't is doing in foreign lands and make them accountable........to us and not themselves. For too long, the US gov't does not walk the walk of its propaganda. Its says one thing and does another.

We say we are a peace loving country that supports democracy. Yet, we are fomenting trouble in other parts of the world and supporting dictators.
