You, on the other hand, are still in denial. If this were really a war it would end like most wars, through negotiation and settlement after the sides exhaust themselves. The administration seems to think they will get Al Qaeda to sign a surrender on the deck of the battleship Missouri. Crimes, on the other hand, are a contest between the forces of laws and the forces of anarchy. Catching the criminals is an enforcement issue much more than a political one. The administration is being led by it's rhetoric, and that is a major reason for the policy mistakes. TP
