I make fun of the Who all the time in my high school class for their song "My Generation." Hope I die before I get old? I don't think so- they ARE old. It gives some of my high school kids pause- because they occasionally pretend (or do not pretend, and really mean it) that they hold their lives cheaply.

Good menory -- Mario Savio was certainly there, and probably said it, even if he didn't originate it.

He died in 1996 at the age of 53. So for 23 years, he was untrustworthy.

Only I doubt if he believed that once he hit 31!
