Aznar caved to Bush intimidation: "If you're not with us, you're against us". His WH trashed Germany and France for not caving to his wishes. Spain is standing up to Bush, and that takes cajones.

JLA, you are right about that. As long as a madman remains in the White House, you can expect the behavior to continue. But then all things must end. And the American people will agree with the Spaniards that there is a better way of fighting terrorism and best of all be successful at it

My foot the world is a safer place if this is what the Spaniards get for joining the war on terror. Bunch of balloney that the world is a safer place. Balloney that the capture of Saddam makes this world a safer place. Balloney that the capture of Osama would make this world a safer place. The cancer has spread. Bush had an opportunity to get rid of the cancerous tumor when he went into Afghanistan. But then midway through he decided to change course and go into Iraq. And now he tells the Americans not to change course and to vote for him? Laugh.
