so now he has to keep toeing their line or risk being seen as a dupe or a liar.

Plus whenever Powell shows a spine the neocons start floating rumours that his son is going to resign from his high paid govt. job.

Fine. If you want suspend disbelief and not accept what you see with your own eyes, that is your right.

However, how do you square your sympathetic view of Powell with the fact that he was a blatant and utter liar before the UN Security Council on February 5, 2003? No one put a gun to his head, but he was guilty of at least 38 instances of outright lies, exaggerations or statements of disinformation.

No honorable man could have possibly done what Powell did that day to further his agenda. Only a scoundrel could have felt that so much deceit was in any way justified.

Powell lied us into war. He is a war criminal. Case closed.
