Do you know that they (and others) track which pages and articles you read on their site? Would you stand for somebody looking over your shoulder while you read?

Wonder why? The entire op ed is liberal. They pretend with Safire, but he is a joke the majority of the time too.

I've been reading it for a couple months and intend to delete after the election.

It costs them to produce it. You get it free. So you're costing them money. :-)

Use a false name and a Yahoo email account. You can get that Yahoo acount with false info too. They can't track you then. As far as which articles get read, so what? They are certainly within their rights.

The 1st amendment is a limitation on the right of GOVERNMENT, not of PUBLISHERS. It says the GOVERMENT cannot tell PUBLISHERS what they may or may not publish. There is no 1st amendment violation here. Ask OMD or mph.
