Sadly, yes. I sure hope that by then one party or the other can nominate somebody I can get excited about.

The last Presidential candidate I have been able to vote for without holding my nose was Hubert Humphrey, and that was back in 1968. And even then, I wasn't really excited about him. I haven't been excited about a candiate since JFK.

We certainly have had a long string of mediocre (at best) Presidents the last forty years or so. Or have I just grown into an old curmudgeon?
