Polls shows 41% of those polled don't know enough about Kerry yet to judge him. While everyone knows Bush and he has a very poor approval rating. People are a little dubious right now, but most of them want positive change. While Bush will pile on the negative ads and lies about JK's character, JK will disprove those lies one by one and win people over. He has always done that when he's had to.

Just like during the Dem primary race, the more people got to know JK the more they went for him, and he is always a very strong closer. Put Jk and Bush side by side and Jk wins hands down, especially when tey both open their mouths. Also shows a bunch of Nader voters who won't get a chance to vote for him or won't throw away their vote for him. Nader may not even enter himself in any battleground states. That's the rumor on the left anyway.

I know JK will win most of the battleground states unless something very unexpected happens. That's all that's going to matter. Those battleground states. JK is looking very good in many of them, including Florida. The worst jobs losses for Bush are across the midwest battleground region.
Bush's only chance will be a scandal or some huge October Surprise. Bushies will try to engineer that I'm sure.

So here we go. Tight race and fierce fight. JK is a fighter and very much up to it, unlike many Dem candidates in the past. He will also get a big boost from his VP pick whom i'm sure will be a very wise, positive and strategic choice.
