Amazing isn't it. Toronto wants to ship garbage 400 miles to Northern Ontario to an abandoned open pit and can rationalize that cost.

I inspected that carbonatite outcrop. Very interesting and an aberrant commodity in this area. Crushing costs, I figure, were about $ 0.005 / tonne. BTW...great fishing about 1/2 mile west of there.

Agrium is presently producing from the Cargill deposit. Not sure but seems they went into production about 4 years ago. Contractor is a sub of Washington Group out of Boise.
