Japan and Germany were not comprised of disparate ethnic groups held together by force over the centuries. Iraq is an artificial creation of the British and could exist as long as a dictator ruled it with an iron hand. The US should find a Saddam Lite, install him, and get the heck out. Otherwise, we will be stuck there for years and years, and a decade (and thousands of our soldiers' lives and hundreds billions of dollars) later, you will still be telling folks like me that they are "impatient".
