Times have changed (probably from your days there), Hi Kumar, I don't doubt that. I saw it too. I've been back twice since the wall came down on consulting contracts, but the last visit was over 10 years ago. I was referring to the Gastarbeiter (guest worker) program that Germany had/has. Hundreds of thousands (perhaps JJ knows an accurate count) of foreign workers were allowed into W Germany to do menial work...saving the good jobs for Germans. I was told when the wall came down that program was slashed. The reason was unemployment among former E German citizens was very very high. They needed the jobs. uw
