Osama considered Saddam a infidel after Saddam invaded another Muslim country, Kuwait. Hence, Al Qaeda had a self imposed ban in Iraq. Even the Bush administration could not establish a link between Saddam and Al Qaeda. Now we know for sure that Al Qaeda folks (foreign mercenaries) have moved into Iraq in pursuit of the US troops.

We need to rethink out war on terrorism. It cannot be a unilateral approach. We need to pursue the war but should carry the other nations of the world first. You would think that after those Spain bombings, the people there would be more resolute in supporting the war. They are, but they do not support the way Bush is fighting the war.
